Helen uses her passion and commitment in classrooms at Continuing Education where she teaches a variety of classes as an instructor for the Parent Education program.
After earning a BA degree in psychology from Pomona College, and a Ph.D. from the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral program in Clinical Psychology, Helen held a variety of clinical and research positions within the field of psychology. Concurrently, Helen began teaching Parent Education classes, which is when she discovered what she describes as "very meaningful work".
Now, Helen uses her passion and commitment in classrooms at Continuing Education where she teaches a variety of classes as an instructor for the Parent Education program. She has also developed curricula, class competencies, and assessment approaches for the Parent Education department.
