Stephanie Thomas

English as a Second Language


Stephanie Thomas has been with SDCE for over ten years. Currently, she teaches an advanced VESL class, English for Careers. She has taught all levels of ESL throughout the district. Stephanie's dynamic instruction and innovative approach to technology enable students to move toward English fluency as they develop digital skills for the 21st century. She enjoys writing curriculum and developing multi-media tools which are often featured at state and district-wide events.

Stephanie serves as the Assistant EL Civics Coordinator. She is also a member of the CE Technology Committee, the ESL WIOA Committee, the VESL Committee, and the Distance Learning Ad-hoc Committee.
