Fabricator - $20/hr.
Steel Fabrication
1,200 hours. Complete in 48 to 52 weeks. Instruction is based on industry standards established by the American Welding Society.
You learn to read blueprints; perform layouts and oxy-fuel cutting; and how to use hydraulic tools—all necessary to understand how ships are built. Learning industry safety practices is also a big part of this program.
Machine Shop is offered at Centre City Campus. Steel Fabrication is offered at the Educational Cultural Complex. Please call for required orientation prior to enrollment.
