GED (General Education Development) Test Preparation
No fee. GED prep is offered as an alternative instructional approach to the High School diploma program; and, is designed to prepare students to pass the general education development (GED) examination. Five content areas of general education are the basis for this course: English grammar and usage, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and computational skills are emphasized. The course is designed for students who are 18 years of age or older, and elect to take the High School equivalency examination.
The GED Exam is administered at two locations:
- Educational Cultural Complex, 4343 Oceanview Blvd, (619) 388-4956
- West City campus, 3249 Fordham (Pt. Loma), (619) 221-6977
Testing appointments are required.
- There is a fee payable when the test is scheduled.
- We accept cash or money order only.
Passing the GED will earn you a high school equivalency certificate.
