Lessons will cover: greetings, introductions, affirmative and negative sentences, questioning strategies, counting, days of the week, time and many other aspects of the language.
French
Conversational French 1
This course is designed for students with little or no background in French. Learn basic conversational skills with an emphasis on everyday terms and expressions. Become familiar with the sounds of the French language, and basic vocabulary and phrases. Topics will include cultural awareness from a native Frenchman’s perspective.
Conversational French 2
For students with some background in speaking French, and are ready for the next level of proficiency. After individual skill assessment, the course will cater to the group’s interests and identify needs to achieve increased confidence when traveling to France or Canada.
Japanese I Introduction
Speaking Japanese is cool as anyone who has ever seen a manga or anime or ordered at a sushi bar knows. The hard part is learning it in the first place. Or is it? If you have a couple of hours a week to spend mastering the basics of conversation in this fun and fast-paced class, you can get around in Japan (or hang around with Japanese friends here) better than you might have imagined.
