Pewter, made up of antimony, cooper, and tin is one of the most mysterious of the non-ferous metals. Due to it's very low melting temperature and high malleability it can be moved faster and in different ways than other metals. In this workshop you will learn to solder, fuse and form pewter along with different finishing techniques. Create one to two finished products.
Create a utensil, while learning different casting techniques for pewter. Students will also form the bowls of the utensils and utilize soldering and fusing. You learn to create small pendant forms with pour castings. Materials fee-$15 to $30.
