Class Description

Understand basic music fundamentals through unison, two, three, and four-part choral music. Improve skills in reading music and the production of choral tone. Music selections from the Baroque, Romantic, Classical and Modern Periods, including Ragtime, Boogie-Woogie, and show tunes. Attendance at rehearsals and performances is an integral part of this course.

Vocal and choral training is emphasized through large choral works and smaller ensembles. Pacificaires sing a wide variety of music from master choral works to pop standards.
