Class Description

Understand basic music fundamentals through unison, two, three, and four-part choral music. Improve skills in reading music and the production of choral tone. Music selections from the Baroque, Romantic, Classical and Modern Periods, including Ragtime, Boogie-Woogie, and show tunes. Attendance at rehearsals and performances is an integral part of this course.

Melodiers perform 6-8 times per semester for community events. Ample opportunity to work on solos, ensembles, presentations and vocal technique.
