This is the second semester of a two semester course designed to prepare the student for success in a college preparatory sequence of mathematics courses. It continues the development of algebraic principles, concentrating on linear equations and inequalities and their graphs. It explores many of the basic concepts of plane geometry, triangular trigonometry and statistics and probability and focuses on those concepts most helpful to insuring success in Algebra I and Geometry.

Prerequisite:
Pre-Algebra, Semester 1 or equivalent.
